This poem has a good erotic feel to it. By alluding to sex and sexuality in an atmospheric context it accomplishes what many don’t just because they’re more explicit.

I jotted down a lot of notes last night...
Thinking of how I am going to
approach and structure...
Like...
Maybe half of the book
will be "Pedestal"...
Half...
Shadow...
I have this...
Idea...
The symmetry of eroticism...
The living geometry of eroticism...
I mean...
Just the idea
of a pedestal's shadow...
Is phallic...
But perfectly incorporates the feminine...
In any event...
This is interesting territory...
