Misdirection of Passion

My passion can go any which way
In all directions
Sometimes feeling like an infection
A thing that spreads over all I touch
Sometimes my passion can be…just, way too much
All consuming and disruptive
Holding us both like captives
Making me sick and twisting my logic
Turning my mind chaotic
Forcing me to be something I am not
This version, a girl searching to know your plot
Your scheme, your game, what lies between
Why I seem to be so unseen
The eventual ways you will destroy me
The never ending analyzing
Questioning what my eyes see
Aren’t we both beholden to false truths we perceive?
