I surrender as I have lost the war of love
I put my heart to rest… no mas
I can only hope that my heart surrender willingly
As many reason I can argue against it… I have no more fight left for the cause
Somehow I must release myself of this love and hope all things come to pass
I must catch my own tears and cage my heart even if I know it will kill me

I take a bow as I surrender by giving up my heart’s only wish
The fight I once vowel to never give up has to come to change
My love has not cease nor has it declined, just think of it being froze in time
I cannot promise that I will not miss you or long still for a kiss
I must at this point in my life fight the battle for my sanity
As I try to close my eyes, my heart will still hold you in great sublime
