True Life Shit

I came out from the shadows, a product of hard times,
A survivor in a world where we fought for our lives.

Raised in these streets, no silver spoon in sight,
Where bullet shells littered the ruthless, cold night.
In these Bronx dumps, resilience is how we roll,
And deep in our hearts, the hunger to control.

The struggle was real, every day a damn war,
You either rise through violence or get pushed to the floor.
Racist pigs patrolling, profiling our block,
Unjustly targeting us, misunderstood and mocked.

But we fought back against this venomous storm,
A united community, standing firm, staying warm.
Brawl after brawl, we built up a front,
Standing tall against the motherf***ers that wanted us shunned.

Through the mad chaos, our voices spoke loud,
Our determination drowned out any hateful sound.
In the face of danger, we stood tall and strong,
Defying the system, screaming our truth all along.

Gunshots breaking the silence, piercing through the night,
But hope burned brighter, fueling our fight.
We didn't beg for pity or any undeserved aid,
Just justice and respect, for our fates to be laid.

Every day a cutthroat battle, our scars told our tale,
Worn with pride, despite society's fail.
Motherf***ers may be crazy, but we were crazier yet,
Survivors, warriors, against a world out to get.

In these Bronx dumps, innocence was slain,
But from its ashes, strength would forever remain.
We held each other tight, forming a family on fire,
Our spirits unbreakable, like steel under constant ire.

So listen up as I spit these words in your ear,
Growing up in the Bronx dumps, where life ain't clear.
This poem was birthed from pain, it's gritty, raw, and real,
A testament to our resilience, the Bronx's battle seal.
