It all works out

I'm looking in the mirror,
Who is that,
I wish I could see clearer,
Is that me,
Theres no way,
Looking back at all the pain i've caused,
I hurt the one person I never meant to,
My story needs to be paused,
Maybe then I can pull it all together,
I need to find a way to rewind it,
Go back to where I lost what I had,
And find it,
But life isn't perfect,
And it never works out that way does it,
The outcomes always different from what we would select,
Everything happens for a reason,
Thats what you told me,
Sometimes the way it works out is very unpleasin',
Sometimes things end so that we have a reason to fight,
Just because thats the way it worked out,
