I should like to spend a day with you
Just watching the little things you do
The way your hand brushes back your hair
What makes you flash your smile
Those moments of silent dalliance where
I find your hidden pleasures
The color of your eyes in a certain light
The turn of your calf in your heels
I care not what we're dressed for
Or really, where we go
Mannerisms transcend such moments
And I want to discover you
Do you laugh quietly, and in control
Or do you just let it roll
Does your makeup always need to be just so
Or are you comfortable just as you go
Its the little things
The bits and bobs
That will capture my heart, or no
And so its the little things
I truly want to know
