My Creator (A Letter to my Father)
To my Creator (AKA my Father),
I am so glad that I can chat with you now that you are in the ground. Now that your work is no longer distracting you from me-- You remember me, right? Your child? Ariadne Diamond, black hair and gold eyes. Remember you were going to have a child with the woman that was your wife. But then she died and I guess I died too, I was nothing to you. You saw right through me, right over me, right around me-- Like I was never even there. I was going to graduate top of my class, I was going to go into psychology, I wanted to be someone that you were proud of. Were you proud of me? Your child? Were you proud of me when I was trying to impress you, to earn your approval. To earn your respect, your love... Since when did child have to earn their parents love? Isn't that something that I should've had a right to since birth. Shouldn't I had meant more to you then I did. Why did you ignore me, because you blamed me for Mom dying? That wasn't my fault, it was never my fault. Yet... You mad me feel like the fact that I could breathe was the reason why she couldn't. I wish that I had told you this before you had died. I wish that I had told you all this before now. When it's too late. I wish you weren't dead. I hate you for ignoring me, for blaming me, for dying on me, and most of all I hate you for making me feel like this.
Hate you for making me cry...
Hate you for making me miss you...
And I hate you for making me face death again.
And leaving me surrounded by it all the time.
