Bathroom Thoughts
Sometimes I wash my face,
Hoping something changes
When I look back up.
Other times I contemplate
For a second too long
About staying under the water.
On very rare occasions,
An almost scary expression
Overtakes my face.
The same brown eyes
That disgust me
Bore into the mirror.
But I look up and smile,
Because I know I still have
A fire in me
Hoping something changes
When I look back up.
Other times I contemplate
For a second too long
About staying under the water.
On very rare occasions,
An almost scary expression
Overtakes my face.
The same brown eyes
That disgust me
Bore into the mirror.
But I look up and smile,
Because I know I still have
A fire in me
