Unquenchable Flame

He stood there watching, unable to look away,
As she made her way through the room, like a queen at play.
Her presence was magnetic, her confidence a sight to see,
He couldn't help but wonder what it was that drew him to thee.

Her eyes held a spark of desire, a flame that set his heart ablaze,
He longed to reach out and touch her, to be lost in her fiery gaze.
But something held him back, a fear he couldn't quite explain,
For he knew that once he took the step, things would never be the same.

And so he stood there, watching from afar,
Wishing he could reach out and touch that sparkling star.
But as the night grew older, and the crowd began to thin,
He knew he had to make his move, before the chance slipped in.

He approached her slowly, his heart pounding in his chest,
And as she turned to meet his eyes, he knew he was truly blessed.
For in that moment, he realized what it was that drew him near,
It was the fire in her soul, that made his heart skip a beat, and his mind unclear.

Their eyes met, and for a moment, time stood still,
The attraction between them, too strong to ignore, too powerful to kill.
And as she smiled, he knew that he had found,
The one he'd been searching for, the woman who held him bound.

But little did he know, the journey was just beginning,
And the road ahead was filled with twists and turns, and everything else in between.
For she was a woman, with a past that was dark and deep,
And he was about to embark, on a journey that would make his heart weep.

And so the story continues, with passion and desire,
As they journey together, through the storm and the fire.
For there was something about her, that caught his eye,
And little did he know, that something was about to make him fly.
