eternity
the Everlastingness of the Alpha and Omega
no back-end to Alpha reign
no Omega close
can time interpose
for, in Him, to die is gain
borderless the ages past
before there was time
or season or clime
cosmos shall all worlds outlast
in His everlastingness
Omniscient He,
Omnipotent: we
fathom not His timelessness
not in time precedes He times
else would heaven fail
o'er time to prevail
or to parse earth's transient rhymes
