I enjoyed your poem, but had you not included your author’s note, I would not have known it was about a moon flower. Perhaps including “flower” in the title or speaking more to the essence of the flower would have conveyed your intent. Just my opinion,

I was trying to show how the action of sex is similar to the nightly opening of the moonflower. A very seductive plant in it's own right
