You
When the world cracks open to our own mental despair
and nothing ever seems to be normal or even sane
You came along.
My heart was ripped into thousands of pieces
Just glass on the street to be ignored.
You found me.
Everyday I feel beautiful and everyday you wait by my side.
Nothing could be more perfect to make my world good.
You love me.
But my heart can never belong to you, my brother.
You've done so much to make me smile, yet all I've done is break you down.
You lost me.
No matter how much I apologize, I'll never forgive myself.
Not for how much I've ripped your heart out.
You stayed.
Still, everyday you give my flowers of rarity.
Everyday you rant to me on how beautiful, how perfect I am.
You hurt yourself.
