A Moment Of Turret's

As a {double nick}
Native borne New Yorker
I can honestly say that I've earned
The space for my Narrative

My deepest thoughts
Are only Comparative to my true Peers
My Indigenous
My Italians
Jamaicans
Hattians
Irish
Russians
Jewish
Nigerians
Etc...etc

90 percent
Of what I have to really say
I will never post
Online

Why?

Because I understand
That this place
{ space }
Is a hall of Mirrors

I was Birthed pre-Internet

My Real life
Exists in Real Time

What we have here
Is nothing but real to {reel}
Interactions

Ad nauseum

Yes
Imagination is Power
And can be made

Tangible

But I will never trust
Anyone I have not met face to face
A true Interface

We cool til we ain't
Is the Motto I live by
Outside of

My Tribe

Everyone here came with
Their own personal list of priorities
As well they should
Have

Poetry is a beautiful outlet
And I am forever thankful for this lane of expression
The multitude of experiences
And Kinship

But trust and believe

When I log off
The Real Work will always be
There waiting

Forever Unfinished
