sparkling vistas with twinkling stars
and Jupiter, Venus, Saturn and Mars

with Sirius blazing far away
in the blink of an eye no longer I stay
leaving the Earth, rushing through space
Sirius A, B, and C I now face -

Sirius C, a tiny red star
with a planet whose oceans stretch very far
beyond the horizon as seen from the spot
hovering over which is my lot

on an island with mountains, warm and serene
cool ocean breezes blowing, a stream
flows from the hills down to the sea -
I'm not by myself, someone's with me

a being who visited Earth long ago
