Dragon Love

My love for you is not unlike this dragon.
No tangible proof of its existence,
and no reasonable explanations for its fame.
It grew from myth into so much more
but its still not quite reality.
Everyone knows what it looks like
Yet no one've ever seen one

It is something that defies logic
and common sense
Its bigger than me
or you...
Yet my mind, and heart, always comes back
to the everyday smaller things
like,

lying awake just to watch you sleep
leaving the bedroom door open
just to hear your voice
closing my eyes and seeing your face.
The scent of you that bathes my skin
mourning for your touch long after you’ve gone

missing you even before you leave
when your presence eases all pain
I cannot imagine living without you
And can’t figure how I did before you came along
I am incomplete without you
My love for you is mythical,
larger than life
indescribable
unexplainable
immeasurable
breathtaking
The words for it does not yet exist
Just like a myth...

So I just come back to:
You are my life
My reason for being
