A gift from Cupid
Nothing particular to this shirt,
Juste an old piece of fabric
One might say
But to me
It's a rare and precious item
Since it's been worn by you
Times and times again
Every time I miss you
I catch a whiff of it,
Like an addict with a drug
Smelling your scent
Imprinted of your sweat
Reminding me of our embraced bodies
Wishing that familiar smell
would stick to my skin
Juste an old piece of fabric
One might say
But to me
It's a rare and precious item
Since it's been worn by you
Times and times again
Every time I miss you
I catch a whiff of it,
Like an addict with a drug
Smelling your scent
Imprinted of your sweat
Reminding me of our embraced bodies
Wishing that familiar smell
would stick to my skin
