Blacktop Roads

Half past tomorrow's songs
colors of Autumn sew
and the morning rises
over blacktop roads
and dandelion stems
in a house called yesterday
with its paint stripping away
a pale sweet anatomy
listening to the porch whisper
in memories in Savannah
