Big Daddy's
In the heart of New Orleans,
On Bourbon Street so bright,
Stood a bar named Big Daddy's,
A beacon in the night.
But now she's gone, her spirit lives,
Within the city's soul,
And in my dreams, I see her still,
Her strength and beauty whole.
For Big Daddy's was more than just,
A place to drink and dance,
She was a sanctuary,
For women to take a chance.
To be themselves, to find their voice,
To stand up and be heard,
And though the bar may be no more,
Her legacy lives on.
For in the dreams that I create,
Big Daddy's still stands tall,
A symbol of our strength and grace,
Our courage through it all.
The strong women we are will never die,
Our spirits live forever,
In the heart of New Orleans,
We'll always be together.
Though Big Daddy's is no more,
Her memory lingers on,
In the dreams we recreate,
And the stories we pass on.
