Morning Thoughts

It seems like yesterday it was all a dream 
There was still a hope for a you and me
But now I realize it was yesterday and today is a different day.

Let's pretend that we never argued over little things
Let's pretend you knew how I felt
Pretend you woke up everyday thinking of me.
Wouldn't that be a trip?

Look at me and tell me you don't want there to be an us anymore,
Break my heart into a billion little pieces and walk away.
Tell me you never even once got to the point of loving me. 

No more pretending just say the words and I'll be gone.
I just hope you can love me like.... I do in secret.
