A burst - a gust
the instantaneousness of crash, shatter,
primal in the inmost, ghost
of a ghost, this host,
perception which perceives, senses
which believe
window well, drenched – entrenched,
centrifuge deluge,
monsoon,
when water feels… Cool – crystalline:
Damp floorboards
seem
to
breathe.
