Start Running.

My claws tear into the ground,
Heart beating fast,
Blood pumping through my legs.

Feelings of rage flash in my mind,
Memories stare me straight in the eyes,
All as buds of flame tint my cheeks.

An anguished roar breaks the silence as
My skin tears away,
Leaving me in the same vulnerable state I was in that day.

I grab those shattered parts of myself, sticking pieces where they don’t go and trying desperately to protect
everything I have left.

I was a cub that day, but a cub grow into a bear. And this bear is coming for you.
