Miss
I miss the sound of your voice
And when you left, you left by choice
It’s simply patience I lack
I wish you’d come back
I want to hear your voice
I miss your sweet smile
It helped me reconcile
It brightened my day
Now my skies are gray
I want to see you smile
I miss the way you dream
I thought we were a good team
Your dreams kept me sane
Now I’m not the same
I want to dream your dreams
I don’t want to be alone
Just another face, barely known
I want you to stay
And never go away
We don’t have to be alone
And when you left, you left by choice
It’s simply patience I lack
I wish you’d come back
I want to hear your voice
I miss your sweet smile
It helped me reconcile
It brightened my day
Now my skies are gray
I want to see you smile
I miss the way you dream
I thought we were a good team
Your dreams kept me sane
Now I’m not the same
I want to dream your dreams
I don’t want to be alone
Just another face, barely known
I want you to stay
And never go away
We don’t have to be alone
