A bird singing for the moon
As evening shadows loom
Her sweet song fills the air
With beauty beyond compare
She sings of love and hope
Her melodies help us cope
With the darkness of the night
Her song brings us delight
The moon shines bright above
As the bird sings of her love
Her voice rings clear and true
A beautiful melody for me and you
So let us stop and listen
To the bird's sweet rendition
As she sings for the moon

I remember hearing a mockingbird sing while I was trying to sleep. I was inspired to write this for that bird :)

Beautiful and descriptive. I saw the image you displayed through gorgeous words. Art is not always with the stroke of a brush on a canvas.
