Don't Let The Devil Win*

 

I know about keeping those suicide demons at bay
and just how hard it is to "win the day"


One night I was just a few steps away
from not being alive today


My plan was to purposely get run over by a car
but, the holy spirit stopped me before I got that far



I just wanted an end to my mental.physical and spiritual pain
and know it would never come back again


But, never forget this one thing my friend
even in the darkest times-don't let the Devil win
