one crushed white carnation,
a window pane, infallible blues
eight rouged cheeks, lemon pie,
hardened crust; pungent mints,
zingy
beer-barrel polka, feet,
excuse me; a toast, a kiss,
empty glass, a few minutes
later
pictures, dry champaign,
much later, internal weather,
divorce
