Shadows

They dance across my face in a dance
They keep us company when we walk alone into the cold night
They're always by our side unless a dark day comes our way

They stalk the halls as you quickly try to get to class to avoid the monsters
They play tricks on your mind and leave you scared and confused

They mimic whatever you do so you're never really alone
You can drown and the vast darkness that over looks you
And shudder at the thought of enjoying it

They creep and crawl up the walls
Images distort and vision becomes blurry
was that real? or just Your imagination playing tricks on you?

Better run fast
They're coming up from behind
The darkness is taking over
   Keep running don't stop just avoid the
 SHADOWS
