On boulevards of broken dreams
where the sidewalk ends
touched again by memories
only to end as a fantasy
with a broken heart
and wrinkle nose
from the incense, I suppose,
knowing how this symphony ends

Your poem paints a bittersweet picture of how things rarely turn out how we plan them to be. Life is full of ups and downs, but all we can do is keep moving forward. Nicely written.
