The Drifting Demon

Veil of shadow, cloak of darkness
Face of nothing, shroud of starkness
Black wind, pushing a dark mist

A foul foe is famished for light
 devilish demon draped in night
still sounds stalk silently out of sight

In the distance, an evil growl
From the woods, a harrowing howl
A face staring back, with an empty scowl

Author's Note
A short poem this time. I tried to add some alliteration, maybe to spice things up. I always appreciate feedback, so don't be scared.
