Cut his head off
said the queen
don't cut my head
says the chicken
and chance cut
the head of an almost
queen.
golden egg hen and
princess cut into pieces.

old man extends his hand
in India
a black man fights
in Africa
an Indian child, almost black,
almost old,
starve to death
in any gutter.

queens don't
extend their hands
chickens don't lose
their heads for her.
The child dies!
The Indian dies!
The black man dies!

old man extends his hand...
cut off his hand
if he is a thief!
kiss his hand
if he is a Christian!

Only queens don't die.
