Once upon a yarn of quilt times
tightly woven and drawn quartered
even in darkness touching crochet
blending the wool of faded rhymes
cross stitched in twilight's tines
with shadows upon the cord's macramé
to hang upon your little thingy
as you dance arabesque in afghan
