Good Night!

Oh honeyed gibbous, how you glow,
And gently glaze the morning dew
Through the gossamer cloud band flow
The wind on high creates for you,
And as you wane above the billows
I think of the people dreaming
All night long upon their pillows
Missing all your golden beaming
Which must enchant Aurora's eyes
For in the east I see anew
Her bold effect on your old skies
Which has them turning brighter blue,
And is how heavenly bodies make
The glory seen in days that break!
