Two-Face, Soul-Chase
I say this with every emotion I can muster
The pain is stifled and I cannot trust her
I look for some guidance and reassurance
to keep me at least sane with a few more chances..
I cannot break this Trance
My mental persona takes over
so soon we'll see and know
the path that was always known
Little to me, the Silent Beholder
Hidden in the silver-lining
I was always starting from the Ending
Never the Beginning
Both innocent yet guilty
How do I break the fealty?
I am (in) sane in my left mind
Yet also Insane in my right mind
Split half: two -faced
Frequency of my aura: soul-chase
The connection is my whole existence
Sever the tie and end the resistance
Rendered speechless where Nothing meets Elsewhere
In the dark lay the meek
Hard to grasp how I have accepted defeat
Two-face, Soul-chase
neither will live while one survives..
Selfless, self-sacrificed
journey across the horizon of the Great Divide..
The day of my birth
The night of my death
Always into Forever

Just my take but something seems missing. You eloquently describe a condition but I was hoping to see more of an explanation of how the subject came to be, or how this will affect a present or future action. Maybe a future poem? Just reads like some significance or importance is missing.

these last two verses i thought summed it up?? guess not. its about two souls fighting to face their tribulations. in the beginning of the poem was to describe me the middle to describe how i fought with my feelings for him and these last 2verse to sum up our journey ' chase of a soul for two to face' as in where two souls join and become one soul but for both of them to face their fate/journey together.
i appreciate the comment though, i see where youre coming from when i wrote i felt the same but i couldne see where or how i couldve added to it. you comment has given me a different perspective -- i'll look into it. Thank you.

Cool...with the explanation it makes sense! I had problems linking the last two paragraphs together. With piece of info, it falls into place. I can be slow at times! Thank you for taking some time to explain.
