what about the ale
What to know about ale?
I have a bottle of beer it is German and naturally cloudy
first brewed in 1624 in a small town with a strange name.
They didn’t get the beer clear and decided the beer could
be called “Dunkel” (cloudy) it worked and also cost more
which attracted the snobs.
I opened the beer and poured it into a glass, it was cloudy
like rain drifting in from the North Atlantic
I like Budweiser.
The beer reminded me of words not understood, but
sensed in a language every child understands.
Then it was over, the beer drunk because the bottle
was open as the night softly descended and kept the morrow
In a blanket of secrecy.
