Beautiful Angel
Beautiful angel;
Filling my darkest corridors with light.
I think I might
Follow her to the stars,
But I’m scared.
She loves me more than I love myself.
I’m afraid she’ll really see me;
Letting me go;
Screaming.
As I fall to my death.
Beautiful angel.
Her soft kiss awakens me.
Opening my eyes
To a world of truth,
Not lies.
I want to hold her close,
But my embrace would be her demise.
She wants more than I can give.
Can this angel really live
Down here with me?
I love her so much.
I can’t be the cause of her misery.
So, I open my arms
And watch her ascend back to the stars.
We’ll love each other from afar.
My beautiful angel.
Filling my darkest corridors with light.
I think I might
Follow her to the stars,
But I’m scared.
She loves me more than I love myself.
I’m afraid she’ll really see me;
Letting me go;
Screaming.
As I fall to my death.
Beautiful angel.
Her soft kiss awakens me.
Opening my eyes
To a world of truth,
Not lies.
I want to hold her close,
But my embrace would be her demise.
She wants more than I can give.
Can this angel really live
Down here with me?
I love her so much.
I can’t be the cause of her misery.
So, I open my arms
And watch her ascend back to the stars.
We’ll love each other from afar.
My beautiful angel.
