wife and a third on the way
Fast forward
Grandchildren digging about the garden
Happily rode off into the sun set

Still residing at the same address
Where with eyes glassed over
as if possessed by a delusional spectre
She pulled a knife
right up to his chest
Ran off with his daughter
never to be seen again
The same house not six months later
A demon snuck in
Tried to claim his soul
Failed
So violently raped and assaulted him
