Serenity's tides
Peace, the calm before the storm;
a gentle breeze has taken form.
I know not what; I know not when;
as time does ease the state I'm in.
The bliss does come; the birds do sing;
I am just fine with everything.
But memories of days gone past,
tell me that this cannot last.
Certainly the soul will shift.
This ease of mine will likely lift.
So in the changing of the mind,
I wonder what new feel I find.
So my mood goes all around,
as I hope it will abound.
