The answer is easy. Love both the fox and the coot.
We are humans. We know what is right in nature, and what is wrong. A human beating another human over and emotional anger is wrong. If we saw that in nature (like, in a city full of people, and we were physically able to, we might have the guts to intervene, and treat would be right . A wild, non-human person chasing a smaller, wild, non-human person in order to eat and thus continue to perpetuate the web of life (poop! and then one day, dead or alive, i am sure to be a meal also)—that is also correct, and right in nature.
To view the web of life and to become emotionally incapacitated, angered, depressed, made sick, or any other negatived, by what you see—that is a not correct. That is a handicap— It is something ugly to focus on, impeding your view of the actual and utter joy and greatness of existence. No matter what creature it is that is existing, chances are it would rather exist than not. And wild creatures spend MOST of their time quite happy, rather than bemoaning their own or anyone else's fates. And when any creature's time comes to no longer exist, sometimes the ways in which WE (humans are creatures too) cease to exist are just painful just. Like disease.
And the worst thing is when someone focuses on all that horror they think is there to be seen, but does so as an excuse to continue feeling some kind of pain inside of themselves which they then can speak of nature herself as some sort of moral travesty. Use THAT a a fucking crutch so you can feel bad about shit and still not have to focus on your self and the actual causes of your own pain?? No fucking thanks.
Some "doctors" are completely whack, i mean, immature, and will tell you all kinds of the wrong things. That shit is whack, though.

Thanks for the reply. I don't feel bad for all the bad things that happen but ... they still happen. I guess what the poem says is ...bad stuff happens and there's not much we can do about it. Yep.. we can try & we do try but... bad stuff... it's part of the deal. Nature can be cruel & beautiful all at once.
