Forget-me-not's
She scattered forget-me-not's around the world. Because being in one place for too long never came easy to her.
Leaving behind pieces of clothing, her favourite books and trinkets.
A breadcrumb trail of who she once was.
Her ability to cope also stayed behind, the vibrant colour once held in her eyes,
along with any traces of self respect.
Precious little reminders to those who'd long been forgotten, or at least
that's what she'd always strived for.
But she kept on moving, praying
that one day she wouldn't have to run anymore.
And the memories would finally fade away.
