Eve
Which fruit
Do you prefer?
The safe and sweet
Or bitter sour
Of the warning threat?
I like tart
Pucker my lips
Sparkling serpent
Take me on your webbed wings
And soar me high
Give me harvest with a zing
A blazing sword
And tempting words
Then grace me with the safe and sweet
A soothing dessert to calm
The storm and passion
Ignited by that knowledge
Of the good
And naughty evil
Take me in the garden
Once the night has come
And let us know
We’re naked
I, the soul
Crafted from your side
be my ride
Until that tree of life and knowledge
Are as one
Until our souls and hearts and bodies
Collide into perfection
Come, my Adam
Take my hand
In our perfect mythical garden of Eden
I will be your Eve
Do you prefer?
The safe and sweet
Or bitter sour
Of the warning threat?
I like tart
Pucker my lips
Sparkling serpent
Take me on your webbed wings
And soar me high
Give me harvest with a zing
A blazing sword
And tempting words
Then grace me with the safe and sweet
A soothing dessert to calm
The storm and passion
Ignited by that knowledge
Of the good
And naughty evil
Take me in the garden
Once the night has come
And let us know
We’re naked
I, the soul
Crafted from your side
be my ride
Until that tree of life and knowledge
Are as one
Until our souls and hearts and bodies
Collide into perfection
Come, my Adam
Take my hand
In our perfect mythical garden of Eden
I will be your Eve
