Water Molecules

every moment in the ocean
water molecules in motion
round and round and up and down
water molecules abound

sometimes they evaporate
into the atmosphere, their fate
to condense once more to fall
on what's below, upon us all -

molecules of atmosphere
embrace the water when it's near
when it's vapour, when it flows
as each droplet grows and grows

removing particles which drift
in the air, away so swift
wrapped in water falling down
particles land on the ground -

where water molecules are drawn
rivulets and streams are born
ever downwards to the sea
water's pulled by gravity

every moment to the ocean
water molecules in motion
rising up to come back down
water molecules abound...
