My Favorite Carcinogen.
I could say I hated you?
Maybe once upon a lie.
You did strike my heart with blackness,
and a melancholy rhyme.
Perhaps it's because you're cancerous?
And that you consumed my heart,
that I was pleased with chemo,
'cause atleast we were apart.
Your deathly kiss upon my lips.
did never seem as sweet,
'til the moment when you pulled away,
and I'd begun to weep.
Jealousy? It couldn't be!
Not from the boy who penned me, "whore".
Teary-eyed? I'm no relief.
Just let them hit the floor.
