Kissing Cuzins

It's so funny
Its like it was yesterday
I remember you...pulling my hair
I remember you... pushing me down
I remember you... making me kiss you
I remember you... knocking me down.

It's so funny
It's like it was yesterday
I remember you... rubbing me
I remember you... touching me
I remember you... fucking me.
Then telling me not to cry
because,

I wasnt even your REAL cousin.

It's so funny...
It's like it was yesterday
I remember telling you to
Go Straight To Hell,
and dont stop past go.

It's like it was yesterday
when I told you,adopted
children have a right to be
Apart of a family without
being treated like
a second class citizen
That's  what I told you
while holding my Adopted Mother's
Paring knife to your balls.
It's so funny...

It feels just like it was yesterday...
when I turned and looked at you...
My old house...and
that piss poor town
For the last time.
While drying that
last tear from my eye
Knowing... that I would never
Be There again...
I would never be your dirty little
Plaything ...again
Knowing that...I would never know
you ever exsisted ...
Except in the far away reaches
Of distant nightmares....
In places where a womanchild
Is never safe in a family
full of Innocence Stealers.

It's funny...
How I still remember
as my mind recalls these memories
Like fingers running over an ancient scar

That is healed...
but still bleeds on occasion
Painful Memories are tricky that way.
Yeah...
It's funny...
I learned what Kissin Cuzins
can really mean.
and the thought of it
does not make me smile.
