True Love Never Dies

BEVERLY HILLS, CALIFORNIA

“Would you like me to drop you off on Rodeo Drive, for whatever you women do.”

“Yes.”

“I will have my driver to meet you in front of 208 Rodeo. It’s on Rodeo Drive.”

“I hate to leave you alone.”

“I may sound out of line, but do not talk to strangers.”

“Even if they are tall, dark, and sinfully handsome.”

Travis softly clasped Darla’s chin, and kissed her slowly. He spaced his face, and looked down at her lips

“I will fill that request alone.”

“Yes, you do.”

“Mr. Slay, we are here.”

Travis dug inside his back pants pocket and pulled out his wallet. He opened it, and took out his Platinum credit card.

“Here you are.”

“I thought we are starring in our own movie. I think the movie Pretty Woman has already come to past.”

The chauffeur opened the door.

She patted his hand.

“I will see you later.”

“All right.”

Darla stepped out the limousine.

The chauffeur closed the door back and walked around the limousine. He opened the door, got inside the limousine, and pulled the door close.

Travis smiled to himself. He placed his credit card back inside his wallet and returned it to his back pants pocket.

His chauffeur pulled off.

Travis reached over and lifted the limousine’s telephone receiver. He pressed the numbers to his residence and placed the receiver up to his ear.

“This is the Slay’s residence.”

“Bertha, I need you to call Starkey’s Florist, and order a bouquet of red long-stem roses.”

“Do you want them addressed to anyone specific?”

“Yes, to my private star, and have them delivered this afternoon.”

“Yes sir.”

Travis placed the receiver down.

LOUIS VUITTON

Darla looked at all her purchases the Sales Associate carried for her. She passed a rack of ties.

“Excuse me, can I please include that silk, black, gray, and blue tie. She looked around, “And the platinum initialed T cufflinks.”

“Yes ma’am.”

The Sale Associate strolled ahead of Darla and placed her clothing items down on the glass counter top.

“Oh lingerie.” She looked at the Sales Associate. “I will be right back.”

“Yes ma’am.”

Darla walked toward the lingerie department. She searched through the hangered items.

“I remember, you use to wear nothing,” someone voice from behind. Her waist was enclosed, she was spent around. And before she could catch her breath. Soft lips covered hers; indiscretion hands roamed over her back, and squeezed her derrière.

She was finally let go.

Darla had to catch her breath. She drew her hand back and smacked the man.

“How dare you…kiss me? I do not even know you.”

Armondo held his face.

“You use to like surprises.” He peered closer. “Zia.”

“I am not Zia.”

Armondo looked down at Darla’s lips.

“It’s me Armondo.”

“I think you have me mistaken with someone else.”

Armanda bowed.

“Please accept my apologies.”

“You are forgiven.”

Armondo turned and walked away. He observed Darla from afar. He watched her select lingerie of excellent taste. He held his breath when she chose erotic garments in his favorite color, of soft pink and hot red. He closed his eyes picturing her wearing the lacy camisole, lying in bed, and him sticking his tongue inside of her.

“Can I help you sir?”

“Ah, yes, I was waiting on my friend.”

The Sales Associate followed his words.

“Oh yes, Zia.”

“So the woman is Zia.”

“Yes.”

Armondo turned to leave. He looked back over at Darla.

Darla held the man’s eyes. He winked at her, and walked to the stairwell.

“Oh my God, Zia.”

Darla turned around.

Her person was embraced. The woman stepped back.

“It has been ages. What brings you back to California?”

“I am not….”

“I heard your last movie in Great Britain was a huge success.”

“I am not…”

“I have to call the girls. Since you became too famous to forget who your true friends are, I think you should be severely reprimanded.”

The woman flipped her cell phone up, and pushed in the contact button. She placed the cell phone up to her ear.

“Guess who I am talking too.”

“I do not have time to guess.”

“Zia.”

“Zia is back in town.”

“Yes.”

The woman walked away.

Darla quietly slipped down the escalator. She rushed to the counter, and placed the items down on the glass landing.

“Would this be cash or credit?”

“Cash.”

The woman looked down at Darla’s purchases, and then totaled everything.

Darla swallowed on the total. She opened her Gucci purse, and took out a stack of cash.

“No need, I have this.”

Darla turned around.

The man, who kissed her, handed the Sales Associate his credit card.

“That is not necessary.”

“How we left each other’s company, it is.”

“Here you are sir.”

“And here you are Zia.”

“But I’m not…”

The Sales Associate walked away.

Darla lifted her parcels and boxes from off the counter-top.

“Here let me.”

Armondo removed her hangered purchases and shopping bags from out her hands.

“Zia, wait.”

This shit was getting out of hand.

“Zia. It’s Zia,” someone yelled out.

She looked around. Several teenagers were running in her direction.

“Come.”

Armondo clasped Darla’s elbow and ushered her out the store.

Three teenagers managed to get close enough, and hold out their cell phone. Two took a picture of her, and the first one held out a black book and an ink pen.

Darla took the pen from out of the girl’s hand, and scribbled a message.

“Thank you Zia.”

Armondo’s chauffeur held the door open. She was rushed into a limousine.

“What did you scribble; the girl is smiling from ear-to-ear.”

“Stay in school and follow your dreams.”

“I’ve missed you.”

Darla took a deep breath. If she was this Zia woman, she has got to be one lucky woman.

The man who held her captive was of a foreign descent. His olive-skinned tone complexion was darken from the California sun rays. His black beard guarded the most sensual lips for a man she has ever seen. His midnight-colored eyes, were friendly, observant. The open collar of his white shirt displayed a hirsute chest.

“I’m thankful for you showing your West-Coast hospitality, however, I am not Zia.”

Armondo stroked Darla’s skin. “The same skin-tone, same light-brown-eyes.” He bent down and kissed her lips.

Darla cheated and moved her lips against his. “The same response to my touches.” He rubbed his palm over her leg. “The same legs, which wrapped around my back when we were making love.”

Darla looked out the window.

Does anyone around here listen?

She turned to face Armondo.

“Can you please drop me off at 208 Rodeo?”

“Your favorite restaurant, case and point.”

“I am not…”

Armondo leaned down and kissed Darla’s lips again. She kissed him back. Okay that response does not count she thought.

The chauffeur opened the back door.

Armondo inched back, pivoted, and stepped out the limousine.

Darla took a breath and stepped out.

The chauffeur closed the door back.

The paparazzi snapped several pictures of the two. The glare of the cameras flashing in her face hurt her eyes.

“Zia, are you gearing to star in one of Travis Slay’s movies.”

“Zia, what is the rumor of your divorce settlement?”

Armondo and Darla entered the restaurant.

“Welcome Mr. Cupola. Zia, how nice to see you again.”

“Thank you.”

The maître d’ snapped his fingers.

Two waiters appeared.

“This way Mr. Cupola.”

Armondo grasped Darla’s elbow and escorted her to the private dining area.

She passed several patrons who looked at her and nodded his or her head.

“Your table is right near the bay window sir.

Armondo and Darla entered a lavish room. Darla had to blink twice. Some of Hollywood Tinsel Town elite dined in clusters.

She recognized several actors, and actresses.

The waiter pulled out a chair for her.

Darla sat down. She looked up.

“Thank you.”

“You are welcome Zia.”

Armondo pulled out his chair, and took a seat.

“I guess coming home has its benefits.”

“I am not Zia, my name is...”

“Zia, how nice to see you again. Welcome back to the big screen.”

Darla looked up. She stood up and extended her hand. “I love all of your movies, sir.”

Mr. Whitaker looked at Armondo.

“Well thank you since you have starred in two of them.”

“I’m sorry.”

“Armondo, can I have a word with you.”

“Yes. Zia, please excuse me.”

“Certainly.”

Armondo stood and walked away from the table.

“Dammit, where the hell is Travis’ chauffeur?”

That was immature for her to have not gotten his cell phone number.

Darla sat back in her chair and glanced around the private dining room.

“This life, I could get used to.”

“I’m sure you can.” A man sat down uninvited.

“We need to discuss business.”

“I’m sorry, do I know you?”

“Yes, you snorted five thousand dollars of my merchandise up your nose, and I have yet to receive payment for services rendered.”

“I do not know who you are, and I do not care if you think you know me, but if you do not rise from that chair. I swear, I will scream bloody murder.”

The man turned in his chair.

“Go ahead; you are an actress, who would take you serious.”

“I would. You heard the lady, rise up partner.”

The man rose. He leaned downward. “We will talk again soon Zia.”

The man turned and walked away from the table.

Armondo sat down.

“Can you take me home, please?”

“We have not ordered.”

“I am suffering from jet-lag.”

“Are you staying at your former residence?”

“Uhh, yes.”

“I will make it a priority to visit you this evening. There is a party in Hollywood, whereas, anybody who is somebody will be there.”

“Yes, that sounds interesting.”

“It’s great to have you back. Now that you’re divorced. I see no hindrance for us to be together.”

Armondo leaned over and kissed Darla on her lips. She instantly responded. Armondo deepened the kiss. Okay, that was not supposed to happen again.

“Your lips still make me weak. Are you sure, I can’t interest you in lunch.”

“I’m sorry, I still have to go and pamper myself.”

“Everything looks refreshing and tasty from here.”

“You make a girl move from the table to your bedroom.”

“You will tonight.”

“You are very sure of yourself.”

“With you, yes.”

Darla smiled.

“Oh, is your cell phone still the same.”

“Yes.”

“I’m ready, when you are.”

Armondo stood. He held his hand down to Darla. She placed her hand in his and stood.

SLAY RIDE ESTATES

“Dammit, I will not be involved with the production if the movie is not guaranteed to be released in time and expands over the targeted budget.”

“Travis, the movie is over-budget by a slight margin.”

“Then have the writers to rewrite the love scene.”

“I would think you would be elated and more relaxed now that Zia is back in town.”

“Pardon me.”

“The word around town is, Zia, was spotted on Rodeo Drive, and spotted with Armondo in 208 Rodeo; I guess those two will finally walk down the aisle.”

“I will call you later on.”

“No you will see me later on at the gathering.”

“Yeah.”

Travis flipped his cell phone down.

“Bertha, get in here!” Travis hollered out.

Bertha ran into Travis’ office panting.”

“Yes Mr. Slay.”

“I need my car brought around, and now!”

“Yes sir.” Bertha turned and ducked out his office.

“Shit!”

He slicked his hand back through his hair.

A TOUCH OF CLASS DAY SPA

The hair-stylist turned the chair around. Darla opened her eyes.

“You are very good.” Darla pivoted her head side-to-side.

“You speak as if you never sat in my chair.”

“I haven’t.”

“Then the picture on my wall is an illusion.”

Darla looked around the hair-stylist work station. She looked up at the wall.

Her eyes enlarged. She stood and lifted the photograph from off the wall.

“You gave me my first break and let me style your hair. After word has it you sat in this chair. My phone has not stop ringing.”

Darla looked at the smiling woman in the picture. She wondered did her father cheat on her mother to produce a replica of herself.

“Here you are.”

“Do you want your eyebrows arched the usual way?”

“Yes.”

Darla sat back down in the chair.

Travis became frustrated with each block he cruised looking for any sign of Darla.

“I do not know the definition of such. Now if you mean if I enjoy the opposite sex, than the answer to your question, is yes.”

“Oh, I see you have mad skills to make a brotha cum before business I see.”

“After shopping as well, only if you’re lucky.”

“She most likely let Armondo fuck her, dirty bitch,” he hissed.

Darla placed her Gucci sunglass on the bride of her nose, and walked down Rodeo Drive. After looking at the reflection of herself. She hopes no one mistake her for being Zia again.

“Zia, when did you get back in town,” a male voice stated from behind.

Wishful thinking, shit.

She turned around, and flipped up her glasses.

 “This morning.”

 “You look absolutely stunning.”

Was she actually talking to Mr. Cooper in person?

“Wow, we have not done a movie together in ages. I have to tell my Agent you are back. I have a role with your name on it.”

Travis’ chauffeur rode down Rodeo Drive again. Travis looked both ways. He spotted Darla talking to Mr. Cooper.

“England, pull the vehicle to the curb.”

“Yes sir.”

His chauffeur pulled the vehicle to the curb.

Travis opened the door immediately, got out the limousine, and pushed the door close.

“Are you free tonight for dinner, I would love to catch up on old times.”

“No she is not.”

Darla turned around.

“Travis Slay. Good to see you again.”

Travis nodded his head.

“I did not know Zia, was back in town.”

“She isn’t.”

Travis firmly clasped Darla’s elbow and propelled her in front of him.

The pedestrians on the street turned to witness the hastiness of Travis’ footsteps.

Both walked over to the limousine.

The chauffeur opened the door.

Travis practically pushed Darla inside. Darla placed her purchases on the seat across from her.

The chauffeur closed the door.

“Where the fuck have you been! My chauffeur waited in front of 208 Rodeo, and then we drove for over thirty minutes trying to locate you.”

“I was getting my hair styled, a manicure a pedicure, and a laser hair removal treatment.”

“Have you eaten already?”

“No, I have not.”

“Funny because I was given a different description.”

“Travis, what is your problem.”

“Women who lie to me after being asked an honest question.”

“I’m sorry, I do not follow you.”

“Were you with Armondo, this afternoon?”

“Funny you should ask, because everyone thinks I....”

“So you were with that backstabbing bastard. I forbid you to see him again.”

“Excuse me.”

“Dammit, you are not to see him again!”

“Travis, the last I checked, we are not in a relationship.”

She looked at him. The vein in his temple was throbbing, his body was tense. Was that anger in his eyes?

“We leave out as soon as I confirm my agenda.”

“I thought we could take in the sights of California.”

“Dammit, if you want to see California, or Armondo, do it on your own time, not mine.”

Darla sat back.

So much for the three ties, and initial cufflinks she purchased for him.

“Did he buy all this shit for you?”

“Only the lingerie from Prada.”

Travis reached over and grabbed all the bags labeled, Prada. He pressed the button. The window automatically dropped. He threw the bags out the window.

“Wait...” She looked out the back tinted window. Her clothes scattered in the wind, hitting the road. She looked back at him. “What is the matter with you?”

“You make your own money use it. It was too fucking personal you couldn’t take my offering. As soon as I turned my back, you let that fuck back in.”

“Back in, what are you talking about.”

“Dammit Zia!”

“I am not Zia.”

Travis pivoted to look at Darla. His eyes were so distance.

The chauffeur entered through two black wrought iron gates.

Darla took a deep breath. She looked over at Travis. His face had a scowl to it.

The chauffeur opened the door.

Darla reached over for her purchases.

“Leave them.”

“I....”

“Dammit leave them; I would not be in here long.”

“Aren’t we going out this evening?”

“What, so you can meet up with your lover boy, fuck no!”

Travis stepped out the limousine.

Darla stepped out.

The chauffeur closed the door back.

Travis walked ahead of Darla. She did not have the proper time to canvass her surroundings. An elderly woman opened the door.

“Mr. Slay, you have a guest.”

“Get rid of him or her!”

The housekeeper looked over Travis’ shoulder at Darla.

“Yes sir.”

The housekeeper turned and walked away.

Travis entered his residence. Darla followed behind. She shut the door. Travis walked off and left her to her own defenses.

“Welcome home Zia.”

“I am not Zia.”

“Sure, you are.”

The housekeeper walked away.

“Mis...”

“You may call me Bertha.”

“Bertha, what is, or what was the relationship with Travis and Zia?”

The housekeeper peered closer.

“Is this a joke to ask me about you and Mr. Slay’s personal affairs?”

The housekeeper walked away. She turned to face Darla. “Please do not upset this household, as before.” The housekeeper walked away.

Darla strolled to the door, opened it, and walked out. She walked over to the limousine.

The chauffeur rested his presence against the vehicle reading a newspaper. He placed the newspaper down on the hood.

“May I help you?”

“Yes, is it possible to get my shopping bags from off the backseat?”

“Sure Miss. Zia.”

“I’m not...Oh forget it.”

The chauffeur opened the back door; Darla climbed in, and scooped up her packages, and parcels.

“Would you like any assistance ma’am?”

“Yes, can you please be nice, and grab the hangered items for me.”

Darla scooted out.

The chauffeur, removed her clothing from off the seat, stepped back, and closed the door. Darla walked to the entrance, and crossed the threshold.

“I can take those.”

“Are you sure? I can assist you up the stairs, or, you may use the elevator.”

“Elevator.”

“Yes, this home is equipped with an elevator. It makes it much easier for the staff, and in your case, the woman of the house.”

“Where is the elevator?”

“Behind the grand stairwell.”

“Will it be too much to ask which floor Travis’ bedroom is located on?”

“The entire fifth floor.”

“Thank you.”

“Oh, here you are ma’am.”

She removed the clothing items from out the chauffeur’s hand.

“Thank you.”

“You’re welcome.”
Darla turned and walked in the direction of the elevator.

“Oh, you do remember the security code.”

Darla turned around.

“I’m sorry; it has been such a long time.”

“It’s his initials, plus your first initial.”

“TSZ.”

“Since no middle initial, yes.”

“Thank you.”

“You’re welcome, ma’am.”

Darla walked to the elevator. Her heels echoed loudly on the granite speckled floor. She pushed the elevator up button. The elevator doors slid open. She stepped into the crush velvet blue rug. She looked at her reflection in the floor to ceiling mirror. She turned and pushed the three initial buttons of TSZ.

“I will be damn if I’m shortened a vacation for looking like someone, apparently he had a torrid relationship with.”

The elevator doors closed.

Travis slicked his hand back through his hair. Damn, he was sorry he returned from Prague. He looked over the budget for his next movie.

“I told Burt, rewrite the script or I walk away.”

“Travis, you are driving a hard bargain.”

“Perfection has always been my foe.”

“I will see you this afternoon, and word has it, Zia will be with you.”

“The woman’s name is Dr. Cabaña.”

“The Scientist?”

“Yes, are you familiar with her?”

“Yes, she recently acquired the patent on the cardiac medicine she developed, and I read somewhere, her parents own the rights, and patent to the heart defibrillator and some other machines used in hospitals worldwide.”

Travis palmed his chin. “No kidding.” Now he felt ashamed for being so hard on her.

“It was nice seeing you again; I will see you later on.”

“You may have a problem convincing everyone the beautiful woman, on your arm is not Zia.”

“I will cross that bridge when it comes.”

“Very good my friend.

Steven walked to the door, exited, and pulled the door close.

Travis lifted his glass of Gin from off his desk and took a swing.

“Oh shit, Darla.” He slammed his glass down on his desk and rushed to the door. He opened it and rounded the corner.

“Mr. Slay would you like any lunch.”

“Not at the moment. Have you seen Darla?”

“Darla? Am I to know who this person is?”

“Yes, the guest I brought home.”

“You mean Zia.”

“No, her name is Dr. Cabaña...”

“But sir she looks and acts like Zia.”

“We'll be advised, she isn’t, and alert the staff, she is to be addressed as Dr. Cabaña.”

“Yes sir.”

Bertha walked away.

“Bertha you did not answer my question. Have you seen her?”

“Yes, she was seen walking out the front door.”

Travis rushed out into the foyer. He opened the door. He did not see her. “Shit.” He slammed the door close. She probably gave him the slip for that jagged ass bastard. “Fuck.” Damn he wished he had her cell phone; he will definitely give her an earful.

Travis unloosened his tie from around his neck, removed it, and took off his suit jacket. He laid both clothing items over his arm, walked to the elevator, and pushed the up button.

“Leave them.”

“I....”

“Dammit leave them; I would not be in here long.”

“Aren’t we going out this evening?”

“What so we can meet up with your lover boy, fuck no!”

Darla looked at her reflection in the closet mirrored door. She held up the baby-blue colored gown against her frame.

She tilted her head to one side to better asses her image. “Way too dark.” She switched to the coral-colored gown. Her curly hair, swished across her shoulder blades when she moved her head. “Yes, this just might be the one.”

She heard the elevator stop. She looked over in that direction. The elevator doors open.

Travis stepped off. He looked up. Their eyes met from across the bedroom.

“Well which color, suits me.”

Travis looked at Darla in a red thong and the matching strapless bra.

“Preferable the red.”

Darla removed the gown and looked down at her bra.

“If I am going to be mistaken as an actress, then I might as well play the part, because your movie I’m starring in is too dramatic, too demanding, and too demeaning.”

Travis strolled across the room.

Darla turned to face the mirror.

Travis encircled her waist.

“I apologize for my behavior.”  He squeezed her to him and kissed her shoulder blade. He met her eyes in the mirror.

“You are too beautiful Dr. Cabaña, for your own good.”

“To be mistaken for an actress, I will say that is very good. Oh, I have something for you.”

“For me.”

“You’ve been a very dishonorable man, and I really do not think you really deserve it.”

“What if I make up for my foolish behavior to you later on?”

“I don’t know.”

Travis turned Darla around.

He fingered the lacy material of her bra.

“Oh no Mr. Hollywood Director, you may have lost your privileges for tonight in that bed over there.”

“What!” The scowl appeared back on his face. “Are you keeping your pussy for Armondo’s tongue!”

Darla stepped back.

“What are you talking about?”

“What were you and Armondo talking about at the 208 Rodeo; it must have mattered, for him to have purchased you lingerie.”

“You are being very disrespectable and rude.”

Darla stormed away.

Travis grabbed her arm and pulled her back. He snatched the gowns from out of her hands and tossed them on the dresser.

“Did you let him fuck you!”

“Are you jealous if I had?”

“Fuck no, I just want to know, who else is running up in you besides me, as a result, no paternity bullshit will be thrown my way in the near future.”

Darla drew her hand back and smacked him.

“Maybe I should stay at a hotel.”

Darla walked over to the dresser and pulled a drawer open. Travis was on her heels.

“Are you going to meet your lover, hum? Let him fuck you in my home, our bed.”

“You are delusional.”

“Well, you can take this with you.”

Travis bent Darla over the dresser.

“Get off me.”

Travis pulled his zipper down and freed his dick. He held one elbow over Darla’s back, ripped her thong off, and palmed his dick. He rammed his member inside her pussy.

“Oh...” He charged his groin against her buttocks. “You want him to have my pussy.”

He rode her pussy harder. “Dammit answer me!”  He leaned down and licked up her back.

“Travis....you’re...you’re hurting me.”

He yanked her hair back and repeatedly smacked a buttock with all he had.

“Travis...”

He slammed his dick into her pussy without any compassion or any zeal.

“You’re hurting me.”

“I... dammit, I told you, I’ve fucked women like you a dime a dozen.”

Darla laid there and involuntary submitted her will to fight.

“Oh...oh baby.” Travis persistently smacked her buttock harder as he was ejaculating inside of her. “Ugg.” He quickly withdrew. “Make sure you tell him Travis’ dick has nutted in that pussy first.”

Darla laid unmovable.

Travis looked down at her redden buttock.

Darla slowly backed up and turned around.

Travis took in her disheveled appearance. She ran into the bathroom and slammed the door close.

Travis went to sit on the bed. He placed his face in his palms.

The memories of Zia and his tumultuous relationship seem to hinder his happiness with another woman.

Darla gingerly walked to the Jacuzzi style bathtub and turned on both faucet knobs. She walked over to the mirror and looked at her reflection. For the life of her, she could not stop the tears from rolling down her cheeks. For a man to make her shed tears is unusual. She knotted her hair at the nape of her neck and walked over to the Jacuzzi style bathtub. She turned off the faucet knobs, stepped over the rim, and submerged her body.

Travis stood and walked over to the bathroom door. He leaned down, reached for the doorknob, and twisted it. He knocked on the door.

Darla looked at the door and ignored Travis’ knocks. She wiped the tears away with the back of her hands.

“Darla, I apologize, I lost my head. I think it began the day a woman name Zia, walked into my life, rattled it, shook it upside down, and her blatant infidelity, and disregard for anyone’s feeling. When I first saw you on the beach. God, I swear, that was the moment I believed in ghosts, and then you showed me, you are not like her. Then, I bring you back to California, where my emotions once were shambles in Zia’s company, and I felt emotional vulnerable once again. I do not understand your relationship with Armondo, but Darla, I really do not want to abort this connection between us, not now, not this soon, I like you.”

Darla opened the door.

“For this not to be a relation....”

Travis pulled Darla into his arms and gently kissed her. “Baby, I’m sorry,” he moaned against her lips. Darla pasted her body against his. Travis’ hands roamed over her buttocks.

“No, very sore.”

“I’m sorry, come here.”

He lifted her in his arms, carried her over to the bed, and laid her on it, he rolled her over.  Travis removed his shoes, socks, and his clothes came last. He joined Darla in the bed. He leaned down and rained kisses to her buttocks. He pulled her buttocks open and licked over her anus. He stuck the tip of his tongue in the narrow opening.

“Travis...”

Travis palmed her hips and pulled her buttocks into his face. His tongue shoveled deeper. He licked up and down the road leading to her pussy. He divided her buttocks wider and suckled the opening to her pussy. His tongue swarmed inside.

“Oh Travis,” Darla cried out in ecstasy

Darla gripped the bedcovers. His love making is testing her emotions to give in or walk away.

Travis turned her over and bent his head to tease a breast nipple. “I love making love to you.”

Darla hugged Travis to her and kissed his lips.

“Make be a believer.”

Travis palmed his manhood and leaned down. He kissed her lips and slipped the length of his dick into her pussy.

Darla wrapped her legs around his back.

“You feel so good baby, I’m sorry.”

Travis suckled her neck. Darla lifted her pelvis, to greet his groin. His fat dick pushing inside of her, breaking the rules of emotional entrapment was pushing her over the edge.

“Travis…I’m about.”

He smothered her mouth with his and intensified his thrust.

“Oh Darla…say…say you.” He leaned his forehead against hers. Darla squeezed him to her.

Two physical releases merged as one.

“Uum…”

Travis kissed Darla’s lips, and continued pumping. Darla hugged him to her even tighter.

“I hope you did not get upset, when the DNA test is knocking at your door.”

“I will answer to my responsibility, just as long as it’s mine, and not the ex-fiancée, the sex partner, or dammit, Armondo.”

Travis withdrew his semi-flaccid and rolled over. He hugged Darla to him and threw the bedcovers over them.

“Okay, it’s time for confession.”

Travis yawned.

“I’m listening.”

“How long were you and this Zia involved.”

“Over two years off and on, more so off than on.”

“Did she reside here?’

“Off and on.”

“Is that more off than on.”

“Yes, she had her own residence in Pacific Heights.”

“Who or what discontinued the relationship.”

“She had numerous affairs, throughout our relationship, and to spite me, she moved to Great Britain, and married someone else.”

“Then how does Armondo, fit into the scheme of this.”

“He was one of her lovers.”

“I see. Was she into the Coke scene?”

“I’m not sure, why?”

“When Armondo thought I was Zia, he practically twisted my arm to go to 208 Rodeo. To make a long story short, he stepped away from the table, and a shady character slipped into the chair. He said Zia owns him five-thousand dollars, for the merchandise she snorted up her nose.”

“Are you for certain?”

“Yes. Travis make no mistake I am not Zia, and please do not treat me as I am.”

“I know baby, how is your buttock.”

“Fine.”

“Good, that’s my best asset when you’re naked.”

“You are very virile Mr. Slay.”

“Another one of my character flaws.”

Darla pivoted her face upward. Travis pivoted his face downward.

Two lips met.

Travis kissed her on the tip of her nose.

Darla yawed. “I’m sorry, jet lag.”

“You are still trying to reel this brotha in, therefore, when are you going to let me meet the parents.”

“I’m not, this is not a relationship remember.”

“I forgot; it isn’t.”

He kissed her on top of her head.

“Tonight, we have a gathering to attend.”

“So, everyone in attendance can think, I am your lost love. I will decline my presence.”

“I could really use your company at my side tonight.”

“You mean that.”

“Yes.”

“Travis, you are very hard to put into a category.”

“I prefer not to be in one. I want you to deal with me intellectually, emotionally, spiritually, and physically.”

“That is putting it mildly.”

She did not get a reply.

“Travis.”

She looked up.

Travis’s eyes were closed, a light snore escaped.

Darla snuggled closer and drifted to sleep.

LATER THAT EVENING

Darla opened her eyes and yawed. She turned over and felt the empty space.

“Travis.”

“Over here baby.”

Darla lifted her head up. She got an eye view of his nakedness.

“You look…how you Californian folks say, oh yes, marvelous.”

Travis turned from smacking some aftershave to his cheeks and walked over to where Darla laid. He bent over and kissed her on the lips.

“It takes one to know one.” He winked at her.

“I need to get a shower.”

“Do you need any assistance prior to getting dressed?”

“Such as.”

“With whatever you women need help with.”

“I think I can handle this.”

Travis lifted his tuxedo pants, stepped into them, and zipped them.

Darla flipped the covers back and sat up. She stood and walked into the bathroom. Travis cranked his neck to get a better back view.

“Nice ass I must say.”

“I heard that,” she yelled from the bathroom.

Travis smiled.

He immediately heard the shower running, and Darla singing.

His telephone rang. He slipped his arms through his suspenders and walked over to the nightstand. He lifted the telephone receiver and placed it up to his ear.

“Yeah.”

PACIFIC HEIGHTS, CALIFORNIA

Armondo held the telephone receiver away from his ear. He took a deep breath and placed it back up to his ear.

“Yes, this is Zia’s Personal Assistant; she has given me this number to call her in case of an emergency.”

“I think you can find her in Great Britain, and not my bed.” You bastard.

Travis slammed the telephone receiver down in Armondo’s ear.

Armondo hung up the telephone. He will not lose Zia again. They were so close to the alter, that was until her so-called boyfriend, kicked her out his life. Now that he has the monetary value, and means of the lifestyle she is accustomed too, he will not be denied the entrance into her life again.

Armondo replaced the receiver back in the cradle. He touched his lips, at the memory of her lips on his, their clandestine meetings at her lover’s estate. He will make sure he rekindles their relationship.

BEVERLY HILLS, CALIFORNIA

Travis walked to the door and knocked on it.

Darla placed her mascara on the vanity. She walked to the door and opened it.

“I will be downstairs in my office.”

“Well look at you.” She stepped in front of him and straightened the bowtie to his tuxedo. “You look handsome, and debonair.”

“I still like the golden-brown look.”

Darla looked down at her nakedness.

“I have a color even better.”

“As someone told me, make me a believer.” He landed a quick kiss to her lips.

“I will be down in twenty minutes.”

“Yes ma’am.”

Travis turned and walked toward the elevator.

“Mr. Slay.”

Travis turned around. He faced Darla leaning against the door frame.

“You really look handsome.”

“Still trying to reel this brotha in huh.”

“I have my ways.”

“I like the thrills when you’re trying.”

She blushed.

“I will see you momentarily.”

Darla turned and entered the bathroom.

Travis smiled and pushed the elevator down button. The elevator doors opened. He stepped on. The doors closed. He pressed the three initial buttons. The elevator dropped.

The elevator doors opened. Travis stepped off.

The door chimes echoed. Travis walked over to the door and opened it.

“Darling, I heard you were back in town.”

“Charmaine, what are you doing here.”

“You did not want me to join you in Prague, so here I am.”

She removed her fur coat.

Travis slammed the door close and turned to face her.

“We are no longer a couple.”

“That’s not what you whispered in my ear nine months ago when we touched one another.”

“Yes, nine months ago, and as I recall, we did not make love, due to me dating someone else.”

“Oh please.” She looked over his appearance. “You look nice, were you going somewhere.”

“Yes, we have a private function, which I assume we are late for.”

“We?”

Darla walked up and grabbed a hold of Travis’ hand. “Yes, we,” Darla inserted.

Travis squeezed Darla’s hand

Charmaine looked from one to the other.

“Zia, how nice to see you again.”

“I wish I could return the sentiment.”

Charmaine cleared her throat.

“I had no idea you were back in town.”

“Neither did I. Can we help you with something?”

“I stopped over, and since I was in town, to see...to see if Travis would escort me to dinner. The last I heard, you two were calling it quits.”

“You know Hollywood; do not believe everything you read.”

“And to assume I would have wasted a plane trip to Prague.”

Travis squeezed Darla’s hand.

“Well not quite. Other than coveting my man, there is the sand, sunrise, and other wealthy men to choose from, it just so happens, this one is already taken. Now without further do, we are late, Charmaine.”

Charmaine looked at Travis, and then at Darla. She put her fur back on.

“I love your Russia Sable. You have excellent taste.”

“Thank you.” Charmaine smiled. “Well do not let me keep you. It was nice seeing you again Travis, Zia,”

“No, actually it’s Dr. Cabaña.”

Charmaine arched her eyebrows at the confusion. “But you lo...”

“It’s the genes.”

Travis dropped Darla’s hand and opened the door for Charmaine.

Charmaine walked out. Travis closed it.

“You are a natural actress.”

“Who was acting?”

“Still trying to reel me in.”

“Yes.”

“You look absolutely radiant.”

Darla turned around slowly.

Travis leaned over and kissed her bare shoulder blade. He smelled her neck. “Your scent is intoxicating. No wandering off from my presence Dr. Cabaña.”

“You are starting to sound like this is a relationship.”

“It’s not, however, Hollywood legends, is always looking to steal the next beautiful woman from my bed.”

“Potent words from a high-esteem Hollywood Director. Armondo, I assume will be there.”

“I hope he has his own pussy on his arm, because mine is already fucked.”

“You are something.”

“Yes, I know this.”

The door opened.

“Mr. Slay, your car is ready.”

“Thank you.”

Travis held his elbow out.

Darla wrapped her arm around his bent elbow.

Both strolled out the door.

Travis dropped Darla’s arm and pulled the door close.

The chauffer opened the back door.

Darla climbed inside the limousine, followed by Travis. The chauffeur closed the door.

Darla looked at the Crystal vase of roses.

“Those are so lovely.”

Travis leaned over and whispered in her ear, “I wonder who sent them.”

“Well maybe, I need to find out.”

“By all means.”

Darla slipped the small pink envelope out the card holder. She opened it, and read it, “To my private star.” She turned to Travis. “I guess this lovely arrangement is from the tall, dark, and wickedly handsome man at my side.”

“Accurate, all the way to the handsome man at your side.”

Darla leaned over and kissed Travis on his cheek.

“Thank you.” She placed the envelope and card on the mini-bar-top.

“Wait, is that all I get.”

“See, you should have bought me the Lobster.”

“It seems so.”

Both laughed.

MOBILE, ALABAMA

Hunter hauled plywood from out the supply store. He rested them against the back of his truck. He removed the bandana from out his back pants pocket, wiped at his forehead, and returned it to his back pocket.

“Shit, the nails.”

Hunter lifted the three pieces of plywood in the back of his truck. He turned and walked back into the store. He walked each aisle, until he came into the aisle he was looking for. He grabbed a box of nails and headed for the check-out line. He leaned over and grabbed a candy bar. He looked at the magazine outrageous paparazzi stories.

“Aliens live, who still reads this shit.” He looked down. “What the fuck.” He snatched up the Gossip Column Gazette. “Travis and Hollywood starlet, back together again, or could Armondo, put a dapper on this reunion.”

Hunter opened the newspaper, and silently read the entire story. He bunched the newspaper in his hand with each line he read.

“This bitch, calls off our engagement, and then spread her legs for not one man, but two,” he hissed

“Sir, are you going to pay for that newspaper also.”

Hunter lifted his head.

“Yes.”

He lifted a twenty-dollar bill from out his back pants pocket and handed it to the cashier.

“Here you are sir.”

The Cashier handed him his back his change.

Hunter removed the change from out the Cashier’s hand and lifted the bag. He walked to the exit door.

“Hollywood shit. It’s just like that whore, one man to the next. Well, enough!”

Hunter opened the door to his truck and climbed in. He threw the bag and newspaper on the passenger seat and inserted the key inside the ignition. He sat back.

“Do you mean that, it’s not the pussy is it.”

“I’ll say about fifty percent pussy, fifty percent you.”

“You do know…ah, we did not use any protection.”

“I have to get a baby here in eight months.”

“Wow, then we have work to do cowboy.”

“I’m with you city slicker.”

Well, if she is pregnant, and if it is his, he will fight tooth-in-nail to get custody. “Bitch.” Hunter turned the key in the ignition and pulled out the parking lot. He stopped at a traffic light. He lifted the newspaper and looked down at the photograph.

He threw it over the front seat and floored the gas pedal.

MARINA DEL REY, CALIFORNIA

Travis’ chauffeur pulled the limousine in the marina.

“Is that the floating castle that awaits our presence?”

“Yes.”

Darla looked out the window. A four-hundred feet Trinity Yacht stood idle on the water.

Travis looked at Darla’s side profile. He looked down at the side of her tanned thigh peeping from under the side slit of her gown. The gold anklet slivered around her ankle, set his loins ablaze. He looked over and leaned slightly forward. A quick peep at her breasts, made him grabbed his manhood.

“You look way too beautiful to share with the public.”

Darla pivoted to look at him.

“So, you think, I should behave myself.”

“No doubt.”

Darla snapped her fingers.

“Darn it.”

Travis palmed his chin.

“You got game, woman.”

“I thought you knew.”

She winked at him.

The chauffeur opened the back door.

Travis stepped out the limousine. He pivoted and held his hand out to Darla.

Darla lifted her gown and grabbed onto Travis’ hand. She stepped out the limousine.

“Thank you.”

“Much later, I know.”

Darla blushed.

The chauffeur pushed the door close.

Travis and Darla walked to the plank to board the yacht.

Armondo waited inside his limousine. He took a sip of his Cristal. He watched his lover, and that bastard, he thought she left him for, board. He will make sure she chooses her fate tonight. He downed the remainder of his drink and slammed the glass down on the mini-bar-top.

Armondo opened the door. His chauffeur pulled it open wider. He exited his limousine. The chauffer closed the door.

Armondo walked in the direction to board the Yacht.

Darla looked around. She recognized several actors, actresses, producers, and directors in attendance.

“Would you like something to drink?”

“Yes, please.”

“Do not go anywhere gorgeous.”

“I would not move even if I were demanded too.”

Travis kissed the side of Darla’s cheek and slipped away.

Darla looked around the spacious room. She was way out of her element. Trina would never believe this she thought.

“When did you get back in town Zia?”

“I see you picked up, who you left off.”

Darla turned around.

Two middle-aged gentlemen, of foreign descent appraised her appearance. “You still look attractive.”

“Yes, youthful and beautiful as always.”

“Thank you, however, I am not...”

“Zia.” She was picked up and twirled around. “My God, I’ve missed you. I’ve heard the news you returned, however, I thought it could be a rumor.

The man repositioned her. Her feet hit the carpet.

“We have got to get together to talk.”

“Not on my watch,” Travis said from behind.

Everyone turned around.

“Travis.”

“Fellows.” Travis nodded his head. He handed Darla a glass of champagne.

“Thank you.”

“You’re welcome comes much later.” He winked at her.

“I see you managed to conquer your conquest.”

“In and out of bed. Can you fellows, leave me and the lady in private.”

“Zia, I will speak to your Agent.” The man pivoted. “Travis, good seeing you, my boy.”

“Not according to my big feet, this sexy woman at my side, or the firm knot between my legs.”

Darla wanted to laugh at the man’s terse expression.

The man cleared his throat behind the sarcastic remark. He turned and squeezed his way through the crowd.

Travis turned around. “I thought I said, in private.”

“Yes, certainly.”

The two men turned and walked away.

“If people think I am Zia, then why am I here with you?” She touched the sleeve to Travis’ tuxedo jacket. “Think of the offers, the favors, and all the lucrative movie deals.”

Travis witnessed the energetic spirit in Darla’s eyes.

Darla took a step forward.

“Slow down woman. We are starring in our own movie remember.”

“I suppose you have a point.”

“Here you are.”

“Thank you.”

“I already have that body on lock later on.”

Darla took a sip of her champagne; she could not contain her blush.

Travis leaned over and whispered for her ears, “Not to worry, that is not the only think I would have blushing later on.”

“I am holding you to that,” she whispered back.

“Come; let me introduce you to some of Hollywood moguls.”

Darla took a sip of her champagne.

“What is your name handsome?”

“Come again.”

“I will later on, I’m sure. Now, I wanted to meet the first Hollywood mogul.”

Travis laughed.

“Okay, I like this game. My name is Travis Slay; I am Hollywood’s top-rated Director.”

“Are you spoken for?”

Travis’ hand glided down Darla’s bare back, and rested on her derrière, he squeezed her buttocks.

“I can’t answer that.” He leaned his face in, and then looked around the room. “There is this beautiful woman, who has been pushing up on me; she even has me starring in her movie.”

“Smart woman.”

“And very beautiful.”

“Well since you are spoken for, maybe you should introduce me to the other Hollywood moguls.”

“You grab on that elbow, and let’s begin this journey.”
