Passion Within Art
"Passion Within Art"
Barely a man without a plan, too much time on my hands/
Too many rhymes in my mind, I couldn't silence these lambs
Though they silenced this man, without a hand over mouth/
They couldn't silence my plans, if my silent plans didn't shout
I couldn't be drowning in a drought, or getting burnt by rain/
Cause when my demons came out, how could my words refrain?
I take the hurt out of my pain, and pen it on to some paper/
Yet the words I create, can lead to some hateful behaviour
In the same mind of this author, who then give you his work/
I started with the mind of a pauper, now I'm rich in my worth
I'm still not rich from this work, though this is not an issue/
Because I'm in love with this dead culture, Hip-hop I miss you
My lost spirit is with you, my tears cry for artist's deceased/
Giving their heart to this culture, only for these vultures to eat
But this culture was to teach, us to reach something from nothing/
Just imagine the work of Tupac today, if his enemies just loved him.
