Contemplation- It Must Be

It must be nice
to have family and friends
people who know you
and build your confidence
 
There's always someone
who likes to pretend
A store clerk, a coworker,
but they are not your friend
 
I love the ones
that go to church
They say they love you,
but don't care that you hurt
 
"Don't worry, God is with you
and will give you strength",
but when you don't feel it
you just feel strange
 
It must be fun
when you get that call
Just to see how you are
for no reason at all
 
It must be amazing
to get a hug
and feel like someone  
cares enough
 
To come so close
To share affection
One nice hug
Could cure rejection
 
It must be fate
that separates the few
that have none of this
and don't know what to do
