Dear Moa

Young Moa, come closer,
I'll give you some gentle advice
The comfort of this life will fade and it comes at a price
You know what you're getting
As long as you don't roll the dice
And what is the point of livin',
If you're not pioneerin'
Surely that's just a fools paradise

Author's Note
I wrote this verse to the melody of Bob Dylan's "To Ramona". You can listen to the first verse of the song and read my version in line with his singing. Let me know if you try and if so what you think of the concept - have you done similar?

My version was inspired by a girl named Moa. A countryside girl that broke out, moved country, conquered the city and found her passion She eventually faced that crossroad - go back to security or ride your destiny?

I hope one day that you'll find a path
a homage to your past,
To your pure country heart,
and its curious soul,
Follow it faithfully
Let it carry you gracefully
