Nothing To Write About

Dear FM,

So many thoughts at once. I’ll try to organize one and hope it makes sense. This poem feels like a morning prayer for writing. Even if we didn’t think we had anything to say, there was gratitude at least we could think it. Peaceful. That what this makes me feel, peaceful. Amen to that and a big thank you. Lovely write.

Dear H!
You got it right from the start! I am truly grateful for my gift which has kept me in this life more than a few times in the past. Thank you for your friendship and wonderful support, both of which are very important to me.

A most wonderful ode to the craft.

...  A little while ago, i emptied my mind and opened my mind.

I was not shore what I was going to write about today.

I am, like you, of the belief that there is always something there.

I typically like to come to the page with an idea, in some form.

I thought about the idea of coming to the page, intentionally, with no idea, as an exercise.

Then an idea came to me...  The idea of "fractal deja vu".
(sort of an insight into the idea that history does not repeat but rhymes.)

I still didn't know where I was going to take this.

I sat down at the page, as I normally do.

I put on my music player.

A song came on that completely showed me the way to go, totally clarified the idea.

...  Indeed, there is always something there.

There are times when I wonder.  Will it be there?
(And I wonder...  What is the effect of my wonderment?  Like, is my wonderment a sort of summons?)

And then I think...  Approach without the wonderment and see what comes about...

...  Just some things I think about.

Sometimes we feel we can write until the cows come home and then there are other days where we can't squeeze out a single sentence. Crazy times. Cool poem and great visual.
