Spice
She starts my day laying next to me
How can I possibly grumble
Because I know how much she cares for me
I'm not afraid to stumble
Morning coffee is sweet without sugar
Greeting the sun, or a cloud
Knowing she's willing to accept my quirks
Empowers me to be proud
When my brow gets dirty, and covered in sweat
Commitment gives me strength
Driving home with anticipation
To discuss our day at length
Passion, or rest, our bed is made
Just a pinch wouldn't register
The warmth - the love - the wonderment
Of the spice in my life with her
How can I possibly grumble
Because I know how much she cares for me
I'm not afraid to stumble
Morning coffee is sweet without sugar
Greeting the sun, or a cloud
Knowing she's willing to accept my quirks
Empowers me to be proud
When my brow gets dirty, and covered in sweat
Commitment gives me strength
Driving home with anticipation
To discuss our day at length
Passion, or rest, our bed is made
Just a pinch wouldn't register
The warmth - the love - the wonderment
Of the spice in my life with her
