All that is vain
People can be really afraid to die
At least I am, not knowing of what happen next
It’s so frightening letting go, giving up
Where am I going ?
Is there really eternity?
How sure are you ?
To be afraid doesn’t change the fact that everybody dies
Even if you are happy, even if you are sad
Even if you are enjoying life, even if you are suffering
Even if you are rich, even if you are poor,
Even if you are successful, even if you are a failure,
Even if you are born complete, even if you are born handicap,
Even if you are pretty, even if you are ugly,
Even if you are Holy, even if you are wicked,
Even if you are smart, even if you are dumb,
Even if you are kind, even if you are mean,
Death is inevitable, it comes for all,
We cannot escape death, we cannot escape seeing death,
Is death an escape to freedom, or an eternal prison ?
Is death beautiful ?
Does death really brings an end to everything or is it the beginning?
Should be we embracing death as a part of us ?
When can we, when can I appreciate death is a part of life, the final part
Everybody’s story has only one ending, death.
The world someday shall end, everybody that has lived and the living shall all perish,
All legacies, memories left behind will be forgotten, no one left to remember.
There will be no history to be remembered, all forgotten.
Vanity, all is in vain,
Solomon, the wisest man who ever lived once said that too.
Vanity of vanities, says the Preacher,
vanity of vanities! All is vanity.
What does man gain by all the toil
at which he toils under the sun?
A generation goes, and a generation comes,
but the earth remains forever.
The sun rises, and the sun goes down,
and hastens to the place where it rises.
The wind blows to the south
and goes around to the north;
around and around goes the wind,
and on its circuits the wind returns.
All streams run to the sea,
but the sea is not full;
to the place where the streams flow,
there they flow again.
All things are full of weariness;
a man cannot utter it;
the eye is not satisfied with seeing,
nor the ear filled with hearing.
What has been is what will be,
and what has been done is what will be done,
and there is nothing new under the sun.
Is there a thing of which it is said,
“See, this is new”?
It has been already
in the ages before us.
There is no remembrance of former things,
nor will there be any remembrance
of later things yet to be
among those who come after.
At least I am, not knowing of what happen next
It’s so frightening letting go, giving up
Where am I going ?
Is there really eternity?
