Time to Dine

You’ve spent many hours in primping
And trying to look so fine.
For me you’re part of life’s menu
And tonight I hope to dine.

Please don’t think I think you’re cheap.
What I’d give to have a taste!
You’re a dish that’s sure to please.
Not to eat would be a waste.

I touch your hand and think how sweet
To be so richly cared for.
Each nail smoothed with a luster shine,
But what I seek is at your backdoor.

You mustn’t know my true desires,
And so I make you laugh.
Your sexy heels add an inch or two,
I stare at your powerful calves.

Later that night it appears to me
I've played my role just right.
Those pretty shinning fingers
Now wrapped around me tight.

You hold me like a magic wand!
To the chef your cuts are prime!
That’s when I look down at my rod
And say, “It’s time to dine.”
